A Place To Learn About Portuguese Water Dogs
Wizard joined our family here in Los Angeles in August of 2003. He was born June 4 in Denver, Colorado at Del Sur Kennels. Wiz is our third Portuguese Water Dog having been preceeded by Boomer & Rocky.

Wizard currently lives with Pam & John in the San Fernando Valley community of Northridge, CA. Wiz loves taking a long walk every morning, greeting his neighborhood friends along the way.
Wizard, who took Agility Training classes at age 3, opted to focus his attention on becoming a Pet Therapy Dog. After passing his Canine Good Citizen test in 2006, he started in the PAWS Program at Northridge Hospital in early 2007.
A favorite of patients and staff alike, Wiz travels the hospital hallways every Tuesday afternoon bringing a little tail-wagging good cheer to those who could use it.
In his spare time, Wizzy enjoys playing ball, swimming, having dog pals over, and naps.
